MaineCare Rate Reform Expert Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) Consultation: Draft CY2027 Rate Determination Schedule, Presented Materials, and Comment Period

On October 30, 2026, the Maine Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) convened its Annual Draft Rate Determination Schedule Consultation with the Expert Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) as required under Maine's Rate Reform law. The session covered the proposed CY2027 rate determination schedule, and OMS made the recorded presentation, presented materials, and proposed schedule available on the OMS Rate System Reform webpage. The Department opened a public comment period on the draft schedule, accepting written comments until 5:00 PM on November 24, 2026. Comments and questions are to be directed to OMS Rate Reform. Following the close of the comment period, OMS will review all submitted comments and post the final CY2027 rate determination schedule on the Rate System Reform webpage, along with a summary of all public comments received, consistent with the procedural requirements of Maine's Rate Reform law.
